International Football Federation (FIFA) on Thursday published a new ranking of national teams.
Russian team moved from 38th to 32nd. This was made possible by two victories in the League of Nations in September over Serbia and Hungary. The Russians made the biggest leap up among all teams.
The leader of the rating remains Belgium national team, with which the team of Stanislav Cherchesov will play in the same group at Euro 2020 next year.
The next FIFA rating will be announced on October 22.
