The head of Russia’s National Defense Management Center, Colonel-General Mikhail Mizintsev, said the threat from Ukrainian mines floating to the Black Sea coast was exacerbated by worsening weather conditions.

According to them, in just four days they will reach Romania, and in ten days – to Bulgaria.

“With the worsening hydrometeorological conditions in the northern part of the Black Sea, the threat of floating mines floating along the Black Sea coast remains. The mines will reach Romania in four days and in Bulgaria in 10 days,” Mizintsev said.

According to him, 67 foreign ships from 15 countries are blocked in Ukrainian ports. They cannot safely leave the ports of Kherson, Nikolaev, Chernomorsk, Ochakov, Odessa, Yuzhny and go out to sea due to the threat of shelling and mines created by Kyiv.

He added that “the Russian Federation does not pose any threat to the freedom of civil navigation. Russia opens a humanitarian corridor every day from 8:00 to 19:00 Moscow time,” explained Gen. Little fingers.

He noted that at the same time, the Ukrainian side has not confirmed its readiness to ensure the safety of foreign ships in the collection area and avoids cooperation on this issue.

He also called on the international community to take measures to ensure the safe departure of foreign ships from Ukrainian ports.
