KONTAN.CO.ID – MOSCOW. Vladimir Putin has hinted at a future military alliance between Russia and China that will be stronger than the US.
The two forces combined would outnumber the US Army by about two to one, have three times as many tanks and warships, and have more nuclear weapons.
Launch The Sun, China and Russia have the second and third most powerful militaries in the world – and a formal alliance can help fight the US.
Putin is hinting at a deepening relationship between Moscow and Beijing as they both have ongoing tensions with Washington.

Russia continues to try and issue new arms deals, while facing allegations of ongoing election interference in the US along with military tensions in Eastern Europe and the Middle East.
Meanwhile, China has seen relations with the US fall to new lows due to the coronavirus pandemic and strife in the South China Sea and Taiwan.
Dailymail.co.uk reported, when asked if military unity between Moscow and Beijing was possible, Putin replied, “We don’t need it, but, theoretically, it is quite possible to imagine it.”

Russia and China laud their “strategic partnership”, but have so far rejected talks about a possible military alliance.
