The Royal Family publishes an unprecedented photo of Prince Philip

One of the images taken by the Duchess of Cambridge shows Queen and Prince Philip with his grandchildren in 2018 at Balmoral Castle.

In an unprecedented photograph, Prince Lewis sits on the Queen’s lap. This is one of the few photos in which Elizabeth II is holding one of her seven grandchildren, Sky News reports.

The other children of the Dukes of Cambridge, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, are next to the Queen. Peter Philip’s daughters, Savannah and Aisla, are seen with their grandfather.

There are also Zena and Mika Tindāls’ children Lena, who is kept by cousin Aisla and Mia. In the photos posted on the Twitter profile, Philip and young Charles play polo on horseback.

The Duke of York, Andrew, has told the British media that Queen Elizabeth II has described the departure of her husband, Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, as “a huge emptiness in her life”.

Prince Andrew said his father’s death was a “terrible loss.” “We have lost the grandfather of the whole nation,” he added as he left Sunday service in Windsor.
