Condoms do they all have the same resistance? Obviously, the answer is no according to “60 million consumers”. In a survey published in November, the association revealed the results of its tests carried out on 18 different models (brand, thickness, material). All are stamped “CE”, the label of the European standard.
According to these tests, the association points to the resistance defects of certain models of condoms. Four did not withstand burst or rupture tests. It’s not all about brands since the Manix Super are considered very resistant by the magazine, while the Manix Contact are not strong enough.
Apart from this survey, the risk of tearing a condom, even considered resistant, is not zero. To limit the risks, check the expiration date. Latex, if it is too old, is weakened and will therefore be less protective.
