VW Arteon is coming to the Czech market in rejuvenated packaging. The new body version of the Shooting Brake is slightly more expensive, but it matches with equipment.
In June of this year, a facelift of the model was introduced Volkswagen Arteon, which has been part of the offer since 2017 and is located above Passat in the brand hierarchy. As you probably already know from the official performance, the main novelty of the rejuvenation procedure is, in addition to cosmetic retouching, the arrival of a sharp “erka” and a new body variant of Shooting Brake.
The Czech representation of the carmaker is now revealing Czech prices. Arteon will arrive in several equipment lines and so far will list the prices of individual equipment with basic engine, ie 1.5 TSI (110 kW) in combination with a six-speed manual transmission and front-wheel drive. Whatever design you choose, the attractive Shooting Brake station wagon will always be 25,000 more expensive. It’s really not much, in addition, with this design you get extra equipment, namely the Easy Open and Keyless Access functions worth … a moment of voltage… CZK 25,000.
But let’s go to the individual equipment. The Arteon entry costs at least CZK 851,900 and includes front and rear LED headlights, lane keeping, three-zone automatic climate control, rain sensor, ergoComfort driver’s seat, leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel, digital radio reception, digital instrument panel, multimedia system with bluetooth or 17 “Light alloy wheels.
If that’s not enough, you can reach for the Elegance variant for CZK 962,900. In addition, it gives eighteen, the Discover Media navigation system, voice control, induction charging of the phone, heating of the front seats, decorative interior trim and so on. The R-Line version costs CZK 974,900 and is characterized by a sportier character, which is underlined by the special design of the wheels or the black upholstery of the ceiling.
In addition to the mentioned basic fifteen, the rejuvenated Arteon will also be available with a 2.0 TSI engine (140, 206 or 235 kW) and a 2.0 TDI turbodiesel (110 and 147 kW). Both body versions also come with a plug-in hybrid drive, the heart of which is a fourteen-hundred TSI cooperating with an electric motor with a system power of 160 kW. Both 110kW engines are offered with a six-speed manual and front-wheel drive. In the stronger ones, already count on a seven-speed DSG dual-clutch. Gasoline four-cylinder engines with outputs of 206 and 235 kW are combined exclusively with the 4Motion ATV, and 2.0 TDI (147 kW) can also be available on request.
We will see the plug-in of the hybrid and the sharp R variant a little later, but before the end of this year. The configurator will launch the Czech representation of Volkswagen this Friday, when we will find out the complete price list of individual motorizations. However, the importer announces that the Arteon model will initially only be available with a 2.0 TDI (110 kW) engine and automatic transmission. Other aggregates will appear in the menu after the homologation process is completed. However, it will be possible to order them now.
