“Wherever you are, we need you to donate blood and save lives,” they say from the center on their Twitter account. And is that summer is always complicated and this year, with the outbreaks of Covid, even more so.
“In summer it is always more difficult, we relax, we go on vacation … And we cannot run out of reservations”, warns Gómez.

The person in charge of Communication of the Regional Hemodonation Center has highlighted that there is no need to be afraid when going to donate, since the centers and mobile units are properly disinfected. And he recalled that the blood of a single donor goes to three people who need it. So solidarity at this time is essential. “We cannot run out of blood, since health care would be paralyzed.”
This Friday the mobile donation team is at the Northwest Regional Hospital, in Caravaca de la Cruz, and on Monday it will arrive at the Los Alcázares Town Hall. According to Toñi Gómez, the mobile unit of the Regional Hemodonation Center will visit practically all municipalities in the Region. Those interested in donating blood can consult the extraction points and the scheduled days on the website www.murciasalud.es and on the social networks of the Regional Hemodonation Center.
In addition, the center itself, together with the Reina Sofía Hospital in Murcia, and the Hospital del Rosell in Cartagena, are kept as fixed extraction points.
