Úbeda launched this appeal yesterday afternoon during the presentation ceremony of this campaign organized by the non-profit organization Ecovidrio on the occasion of the World Breast Cancer Day in the municipality of Madridejos in Toledo, where two containers of pink glass containers were located. Also present at this event were the provincial delegate for Sustainable Development, Tomás Villarrubia, and the mayor of Madridejos, José Antonio Contreras.

Within this campaign, which is national in nature and covers more than 170 cities, the province of Toledo will have four containers in the municipalities of Madridejos and Camarena. The goal is to mobilize citizens to recycle glass containers for the care and conservation of the environment and also contribute to a charitable cause such as breast cancer prevention, as Ecovidrio will transform the glass containers stored in the igloos into a donation to the Sandra Ibarra Foundation for Solidarity against Cancer.
