The Queen’s last farewell to Philip: a series of unpublished shots published on Twitter

“The Queen wishes to share this private photograph taken with the Duke of Edinburgh at the top of the Coyles of Muick, Scotland, in 2003,” the post reads.

On the eve of the funeral, on the same account, also published the photos of the engagement and wedding of Elizabeth and Philip, who spent 73 years of life together, with the memory of the 70th wedding celebrated in 2017.

Finally, in paying homage to the Duke of Edinburgh as “a loving husband and a devoted father, grandfather and great-grandfather”, other images from the family album were also tweeted at the same time.
