The Queen cancels Christmas, but no presents! What does she usually give to her staff? – In harmony – Egoiste

Buckingham Palace has publicly provided information that the annual gift-giving event, which normally takes place during Advent, will not take place.

Queen Elizabeth II loves Christmas and generously presents her trusted staff every year.

Usually they are favorites – a jewelry box, a photo frame with the recipient’s initials, salt and pepper shakers, a beautiful greeting card or something similar.

Those employees who do not want gifts can receive coupons from popular British stores.

The event also usually features the Queen’s favorite Christmas pudding and a glass of champagne, giving staff the opportunity to meet their employer.

The queen pays for the gifts out of “her own pocket” and pays her tens of thousands of euros every year.

Of course, the Queen will send gifts to the staff, but there will be no special meeting with Her Highness, which is very much awaited by each of the staff.

This year, the 94-year-old queen will spend Christmas quietly in Windsor with her husband, 99-year-old Prince Philip. The last two were here at Christmas 1988.

For the last 33 years, the Queen has gone to Sandringham on her winter holidays, where she usually attends services and also spends Christmas Eve. The annual lunch at the Queen is attended by most of the royal family, and it is also a unique opportunity for fans to see them in life while attending the festive service. This year, all this is being abolished.
