The hockey players of Spišská Nová Ves won the fourth quarter-final match of the Tipos extraliga playoff over Banská Bystrica 2:0. They tied the score at 2:2 in the series played for four winning games. The fifth duel is scheduled for Thursday, March 23 in Banská Bystrica.

The home team was more active with shots in the opening act, but they did not beat goalkeeper Sedláček even once out of fifteen attempts.
