Two violent robberies were committed over six months ago in Maasmechelen. For example, on 17 December 2019, a resident of the Prins Karelstraat was robbed by two perpetrators at home. The victim was threatened with a firearm and was forcibly taken to an ATM and had to provide his PIN.
The police made a robot photo of one of the suspects, a man aged 25 to 30 with a normal physique. It is about 1.80m tall. He spoke with a Dutch accent, with his companion he spoke Arabic. (Continue reading below the photo.)
