This Proud Boys “memo” is 23 pages long. Inform about goals, engagement criteria, hotel or parking lists. “A document so monotonous and formal that it resembles the annual minutes of an accountancy firm” writes the Guardian. Yet, behind the coldness of the document, the content is explosive.

He is planning a march that was supposed to take place on January 10, 2021 in Manhattan, New York. 60 The Proud Boys must divide into 7 “tactical cells” of 5 to 8 men, dressed in bulletproof vests, helmets, gloves, equipped with radios or walkie-talkies, to communicate with each other. Cells have to perform violent actions on this day.

This document was transmitted on Telegram, encrypted messaging. He is a reporter Andy Campbell, who obtained it from a member of the small group and who shared it with the British newspaper.
