In addition to its weekly bulletins information from international health watch accessible online, the epidemiological surveillance platform ESA has just made a video animation available to the public.
This video retraces in 50 seconds the progression of avian influenza outbreaks which have been occurring since October 20, 2020 in Europe. It clearly illustrates the strong link with the migration of wild avifauna from Central Asia where the H5N8 virus was detected in August.
