A number of economists have attributed the decline of the US dollar to the Egyptian pound, due to several reasons, including increased dollar flows, particularly from tourism, in addition to the improvement in the Egyptian economy.
Mashreqbank offers the highest price to buy the dollar at 15.78 EGP, while the International Commercial Bank (CIB) offers the lowest price to sell the dollar 15.83 EGP, according to the prices of Sunday 26 January 2020.
