The price of the dollar in Sudan

The price of the dollar fell against the pound in Sudan today, Friday, to record 96 Sudanese pounds, during informal (black) parallel market transactions, according to Sudanese media.
While the dollar in the Sudanese Central Register 47.40 pounds for purchase and 47.63 pounds for sale, and the same price was repeated for the dollar in most banks and exchange companies operating in Sudan.
The expectations of dealers indicated that the dollar will reach 120 pounds on the black market during 2020.
Sudan’s needs for immediate financing estimated at $ 3 billion are pressuring the country’s economy and the price of its local currency.
The country is under huge debts estimated at 60 billion dollars, and the government wants to cancel part of it.
Euro and Pound sterling price
The price of the euro hit 52.45 pounds to buy against 52.71 pounds for sale, and the sterling pound rose to 58.20 pounds to buy against 58.49 pounds for sale.
On the black market, the euro recorded 105.6 pounds, and sterling 125.7 pounds.
The price of the riyal, dirham and dinar
The Saudi riyal recorded 12.63 pounds for purchase compared to 12.70 pounds for sale, and the UAE dirham 12.90 pounds for purchase and 12.97 pounds for sale, and the Kuwaiti dinar price reached 155.10 pounds for purchase and 155.88 pounds for sale.
On the black market, the Saudi riyal recorded 25.86 pounds, the UAE dirham 26.57 pounds, and the Kuwaiti dinar 238.4 pounds.
