The price of raspberries hit the skies

Raspberries have entered the inflation curve and their prices have hit the skies.

The first fruits of domestic production are already on the markets in Sofia, with a kilo holding BGN 30, writes “Standard“.

There are almost no buyers, but prices are not falling.

In the capital’s markets, the cherries, which also started from this price in May, are now from BGN 5.50 to BGN 7. They are unlikely to fall below BGN 5, the sellers claim.

This summer, vegetables under BGN 3 will be hard to find. Tomatoes and peppers in July will be so much, cucumbers – even more. Thus, the rise in prices for fruits and vegetables compared to the beginning of last summer is already chasing 30 percent.
