The President’s Health Adviser: The spread of Corona in Egypt differs from Europe due to the awareness of citizens

Dr. Mohamed Awad Taj Al-Din, Advisor to the President of the Republic for Health Affairs and Infectious Diseases, confirmed that the Corona situation in Egypt is completely different from what is witnessed by both European countries and the United States of America in terms of the spread of the Corona virus, explaining that this is due to citizens’ awareness of precautionary measures to confront this virus .

Awad Taj al-Din said, in statements to the “Hall of Liberation” program, broadcast on the Sada Al-Balad channel, that the severity of cases of Coronavirus has become less, less severe, and fewer, and hospital admission due to Corona has become less.

He continued, that the possibility of a second wave of the Corona virus is unknown, continuing: We hope that it will not come, if it does come, we hope that it will be less than the first wave. Therefore, it is possible that a second wave will come, and we do not know the severity and strength. “

And he went on: “The best solution is to warn citizens of the need to follow all precautionary measures and continue to prevent them so that a second wave does not come or the numbers increase, especially as we are on the verge of winter, and entering the stage of schools.”
