I would like to once again recall the position of the president: Ukraine needs an accelerated procedure for full accession to the EU. This means that the usual and long routine bureaucratic procedure must be passed by Ukraine unprecedentedly quickly. ready. We want to see the same readiness from Brussels and all the capitals of the member states,” the deputy head of the Presidential Office said.

According to him, in constant consultations with EU institutions, Ukraine is working out the fastest accession procedure, which should contain a minimum number of stages and establish short but realistic deadlines.

As Zhovkva noted, not a single meeting of the European Council, the Council of Ministers should be held without considering certain aspects of the issue of Ukraine’s accession.

“Ukrainians will not accept or understand another algorithm for the work of Brussels,” he said.
