Continental hockey leagues (KHL) management is interested in opportunities to attract teams from different European and Asian countries, KHL President Alexei Morozov told Forbes.ru.

“The European market, of course, is interesting for us, but we must not forget Asia. We have been working on this issue for a long time and we are interested in many countries – France, Switzerland, Germany, Great Britain, Korea, Japan,” Morozov said.
“KHL played KHL World Games last season. Our teams played in Davos, we showed the league to attract the maximum number of spectators. We planned to show ourselves in two more places, but the pandemic was disturbing,” explained the KHL president.
Last season, KHL played for Russia, Latvia, Finland, Belarus, Kazakhstan and China.
