Kazakh President Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev gave the order to open fire to kill without warning.

He made the corresponding statement during his address on January 7.

“I have given the order to open fire to kill without warning. What stupidity, what could be negotiations with criminals and murderers. We had to deal with bandits and terrorists trained. Therefore, they need to be destroyed, and this will be done in the near future,” he said he.

According to him, “20 thousand bandits” attacked only Almaty.

“Well-coordinated coordination of actions, combat readiness and bestial cruelty. It all looks like a single command post was engaged in their preparation and leadership,” Tokayev added.

He said that Kazakhstan will complete the operation against the “militants”: “Whoever does not surrender will be destroyed.”

Protests have been held in Kazakhstan since January 2. People took to the streets of cities because of the rise in prices for liquefied gas… Citizens demand the resignation of the president, the government and oppose corruption. During the rallies, law enforcement officers use force against the protesters, hundreds of people are detained.

In connection with the protests, the President of the country Kassym-Jomart Tokayev accepted the resignation of the government… He decided to transfer the interim duties of prime minister to Alikhan Smailov.

Nursultan Nazarbayev left the post of Chairman of the Security Council of Kazakhstan… The Security Council was headed by Tokayev.

The President of Kazakhstan asked for help to the heads of state of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO). Troops of the Russian Federation, Armenia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan are sent to Kazakhstan for a limited period of time to “stabilize and normalize the situation.”
