“Brazil, towards the sixth championship. Congratulations to our players,” said Da Silva in a message posted on his Twitter page after qualifying for the quarter-finals of the “Selesao”.
Da Silva, a well-known soccer fan, added in a second message, in which he posted a photo of himself in the Brazilian national team shirt: “Are we optimistic about the result? Congratulations to our players.”
The Brazilian national team has joined the ranks of the quarter-final qualifiers, after Holland, Argentina, France, England and Croatia, while it remains only to know the identity of the bottom two teams in the two final price matches today, Tuesday , between Spain and Morocco and between Portugal and Switzerland.
Brazil will play the quarterfinals against Croatia next Friday.
