At the end of the week, the Prague Stock Exchange weakened for the third time in a row, when today it wrote off -2.70% to 1,217 points. For the whole week, the PX index lost -5.5%. The driving force behind the decline was Czech, which dropped -8.75% to CZK 970 with the highest daily volume of CZK 595 million. Part of the energy company’s decline is due to the fact that it traded today for the first time without the right to a dividend of CZK 48 gross, the rest is due to concerns about possible additional taxation. However, other titles were also losing, also due to fears of possible additional taxation. Komerční banka decreased by -3.85% to 637 CZK and Česká zbrojovka fell by -5.01% to 547 CZK. Erste Bank (CZK 592 -0.57%) or Moneta Money Bank with a valuation above CZK 85 (-0.70%) registered smaller decreases. On the contrary, the insurance company Vig went against the market development, when it added 1.68% to 545 K
