The possibility of thunderstorms returns for the New York area – Telemundo New York (47)

NEW YORK – After having phenomenal fall days, with a touch of summer, the possibility of showers and thunderstorms returns this Monday for the tri-state area, which will start a cloudy start to the work week that will also have a lot of heat .

Severe weather is not expected with Monday’s system. In general, it will be a fairly wet day for most, although it will not rain throughout the region.

The humidity will be quite high, and the actual temperatures will reach 70 degrees. Enough dry air arrives Tuesday to reduce that suffocating feeling, but it will be at least a day or two before our region sees more sun than clouds.

Temperatures climb back to around 70 degrees after a gloomy day around 68 on Tuesday.

Wednesday and Thursday seem to be the best days of the week at this time, with temperatures in the 70s; both days will feature partially sunny skies.
