The possibility of suffering a serious episode after the coronavirus vaccine is 0.00069%, according to the EMA

The Spanish Medicines Agency (EMA) estimates that the possibility of suffering a serious episode after inoculation of the anticovid serum is 0,00069%. In Spain there are 38,264,820 people who have received the complete guideline, that is, 90.7% of the population over 12 years of age. In addition, another 39,080,436 have at least one dose, 92.6% of the total population.

Despite these data, there are still those who question the effectiveness of anticovid serums. Several organizations have called this Thursday demonstrations in front of the headquarters of the Superior Court of Justice of the Valencian Community (TSJCV), to protest against the covid certificate and the childhood vaccination against coronavirus.

Against vaccinations and covid passport

The protesters assure that “the implementation of the covid passport has been a flagrant violation of the fundamental rights that protect Spanish citizens while the indiscriminate inoculation is being carried out without a pediatric prescription or duly informed consent.”

Isabel is a nurse in a Valencian center and explains that “the safety of a medication is given by time”. In this regard, the president of the Generalitat, Ximo Puig, has recognized that it is “very difficult to digest that in an advanced society there are people who act with such virulence against science and against coexistence”.

At the same time, he has claimed the usefulness of vaccines to save “millions and millions of lives in the history of mankind.”

The EMA authorizes Pfizer’s anticovid pill

Today, the European body has authorized the use of Paxlovid, the Pfizer’s antiviral drug to combat Covid-19. The support of the EMA will allow the European Union to advance the immunization strategy against the most serious forms of the virus, specifically for “adults who do not require supplemental oxygen and who are at higher risk of the disease becoming severe”.
