Seven-year-old Andrey Lyasov in Cherkassy died of head trauma and hemorrhage. This was stated at a meeting of the executive committee of the local city council by the head of the Cherkassk regional police department Vladimir Matyushenko, reports Ukrinform on Tuesday, September 7th.

“On September 6, there was an autopsy, forensic experts received a resolution to conduct an examination. After receiving all the tests, the expert will give an opinion. It is now known that the child’s death occurred from a head injury and subdural hematoma,” Matyushenko said.

According to him, the entire examination will last about a month. The police will also check the testimony of the parents – the boy’s mother and stepfather. According to their explanations, the mother was in Kiev from February to March, as well as from May to August. There she was allegedly operated on, and her husband had been with her since the end of June.

That is, in June he left his children – a boy and a three-year-old girl – to his parents, ”Matyushenko reported.

In turn, the head of the Cherkasy regional prosecutor’s office, Alexander Voroni, said that the boy had been without the necessary medical care for up to nine days.

On the eve it became known that 7-year-old boy died in Cherkassywho was in a coma. The child was taken to the intensive care unit of the regional hospital on August 24.

A preliminary version was voiced that the boy was bitten by dogs. However, the grandmother claimed that he fell from a pile of bricks and was injured. The police opened two criminal proceedings.
