The Police imposes 92 sanctions in Santa Cruz for not using the mask | Radio Club Tenerife

The Local Police of Santa Cruz de Tenerife has imposed 92 sanctioning acts in recent days for not using the mask on the streets of the capital city. This work, which is carried out in a coordinated manner with the National Police Corps, has been completed with the drawing up of another 11 minutes for alcohol consumption on public roads.

Since the measures regarding the use of masks were hardened, the different services of the Local Police “are carrying out a specific surveillance regarding this type of breach, as pointed out by the Councilor for Security, Evelyn Alonso.

In this sense, the mayor has called for “responsibility” to the entire population “since our health, our tourism and our trade depend on each one of us.” Likewise, Alonso thanked the majority of citizens for their behavior.

It should be noted that the Civil Guard has also inspected in Tenerife a total of 17 acts with an agglomeration of people to monitor compliance with the security measures against Covid-19, including private parties, camping, drinking bottles, concentrations, horse races and a communion. The penalties can reach 30,000 euros.
