The poetry of Jacki Práxedes in UdeC Art Portfolio – La Discusión

This Tuesday the work of visual artist Jacki Práxedes reached the Arte UdeC portfolio, with the montage entitled “That which you do not see and that exists”.

As the artist herself explains, these are “paintings on canvas finished during the period 2019 and 2020. They are pieces that play to question common forms, outlining some figuration, but hidden in rather abstract plots.”

“In all of them, there is a permeability as an artist, in terms of the sense of the human, in the search for that which is beyond, that which I call the invisible. The works themselves are a journey between the inside and the outside, the register of which accumulates between layers and lives ”, explains Jacki.

The virtual exhibition is an effort by Cecal UdeC, the Department of Arts of the University of Concepción and Empresas La Discusión in an activity that aims to make the work of local artists visible in times of the pandemic generated by Covid-19.
