The Pilsen footballers interrupted the winning series of Sparta and honored the memory of Čišovský

The footballers of Pilsen defeated Sparta 2: 1 in the hit of the third round of the superstructure group for the title at home. The second Viktoria partially repaid the third team of the table with a recent 1: 2 defeat from the home cup semifinals. The people of Prague hesitated after a series of eight competition prizes. A certain champion Slavia shot Jablonec 4: 0 at home.

In the second half of the match between Pilsen and Sparta, the alternating Tomáš Chorý and Ondřej Mihálik scored. After the elimination of the Pilsen team, Jan Kopice was reduced in the 88th minute by another substitute, David Moberg Karlsson.

After Wednesday’s 0: 1 defeat in Slavia, the West Czechs lost their chance for the championship title, but they already had a certain second place. Letna will have to fight for the final third place.

There was a minute of silence before the excavation, or a minute of applause for the former Pilsen defender Marián Čišovský, who died of the incurable disease ALS today at the age of 40.

“I am glad that we managed to play the match very solidly and still win, which is of course almost insignificant in quotes at the moment. It was important for the boys to send such a signal to their great friend and big man,” said Pilsen coach Adrian Guľa on video press conference.

The Spartans began to be more active. Hložek missed a goal with a dotted shot, in the 15th minute it was much closer to the leading goal of captain Dočkal, who fired the crossbar from a distance.

Then they took the initiative of the home. Mihálik headed to the goal. Karabka’s mistake was then corrected by goalkeeper Nita, who turned the ball away in front of Hořava and then destroyed Kayamb’s shot. In the 30th minute, the Pilsen goalkeeper Hruška also shone and caught the free Tetteh up close.

“Especially in the first half, we were a balanced opponent in Pilsen. We also had several good options there, unfortunately we did not manage to use any of them,” said Spartan coach Vaclav Kotal.

He no longer sent Dočkal and Hložka to the second half, which he probably saved for Wednesday’s MOL Cup final with Liberec. Kanga and league debut Horák jumped off the bench.

The Pilsen team opened the score in the 56th minute. Hořava found Chorý from the corner kick and he didn’t give Nita a chance with his head. The Romanian goalkeeper, catching the 50th match in the Czech league, then kicked Mihálik and Čermák.

After the overwhelming pressure of the locals, the Spartans also created a great chance. However, Drchal’s shot was defeated by Hruška after a quick penetration. In the 65th minute, Viktorie Michálik added a second goal when he took close advantage of Chorý’s pass.

In the end, the home team was complicated by the substitute Kopic, who received a red card in the 85th minute for stepping on Vindheim. Judge Orel did this only after watching the video, he originally gave the Pilsen midfielder only yellow.

The Letna team used the power play after only three minutes. Moberg Karlsson got a lot of space and the Swedish substitute reduced the spot with a dotted shot.

“The boys did not experience the simplest situation today, it is possible that these things also played a role there. Honza apologized to the boys, we will see in the next few days, we have enough time to evaluate it,” Guľa said.

Pilsen has already maintained a close lead and defeated Sparta for the fourth time in a row at home and did not lose to the rival for the tenth time in a row. “We lost after a while, but we have to forget about it and focus on Wednesday’s cup final,” Kotal pointed out.

Slavia dispersed debates about the master hangover

Four days after winning the championship title, the footballers of Prague’s Slavia won the third round of the league superstructure over Jablonec 4: 0. Two goals were scored by Petar Musa, who also did not change the penalty in the setting, but still moved to the top of the table of gunners. Petr Ševčík added one goal and Lukáš Masopust alternated.

The defending champion defeated Severočechy for the fifth time in a row and leads the table nine points ahead of Pilsen. Jablonec four wheels did not win and dropped to fifth place.

“The fact that we made five changes to the basic line-up was not entirely clear about the compactness. The performance was good, although not flawless. Overall, I’m glad that we approached it responsibly and pushed forward a lot,” he said during the video. Slavic coach Jindřich Trpišovský at the press conference.

For a certain title, he shuffled the line-up less than expected. Coufal, Bořil, Kúdela, Ševčík and Stanciu were also present in the opening eleven. However, only for the second time in the league between the bars was a young man Markovič. Jablonec, as in the recent debacle in Eden 0: 5, at the end of the basic part lacked a number of players, some due to injuries, others due to the fact that they are visiting Slavia in northern Bohemia.

From the beginning, it was clear that the guests do not have much chance of success in the weakened group. The Prague team dominated and opened the score at the end of the seventh minute. After Stanciu’s center, Musa was the first to succeed. Referee Lerch acknowledged the goal, although Coufal, who was standing nearby, was offside and tried to get involved.

Both teams lost support in the first half due to injury. In the 29th minute, Hrubý Hanuš replaced Jablonec goalkeeper Jablonec and Kúdela resigned from the game.

A moment later, the Slavists increased. Provod’s shot was blocked by Plechatý only towards Ševčík, who sent the ball into the open goal. He followed up on the last winning shot against Pilsen and scored the tenth goal in the 100th league duel. The guests were threatened by a minute before the break, when Hämäläinen headed around the corner with the help of a small flowing goalkeeper Markovič on the ground just above.

“Slavia was better from the beginning, we pulled for a shorter end. We had two chances there, in which we should have been more emphatic,” said Jablonec coach Petr Rada.

In the 53rd minute, Musa could have added the third goal of the Prague team, but Hanuš caught it. The Croatian forward celebrated his second goal in the match five minutes later. He embraced the tracker Štěpánek by the ball and ended the separate escape exactly to the pole. He scored the 13th goal and moved to the top of the gunner’s table. “I saw that the defender doesn’t go full ball. I lurked there, I went full throttle, I took the ball and cleaned it up,” Musa said.

Jablonec did not have the strength to dramatize the match. On the contrary, Coufal could have increased, whose attempt was made by Hanuš. In the 79th minute, he stopped Pilíkov’s shot into the open home goal Provod and the guests did not get a single goal.

Instead, they collected again. After Stanciu’s pass, he proceeded to Hanuš in the 86th minute with the alternating Shrovetide and did not hesitate. After Pilík’s intervention, the home team still had a penalty, but Musa did not change it in the third minute of the setting and refused the premier hat-trick in the Czech league. The Prague team missed a goal to equalize the last win over Jablonec 5: 0.

“I would like to thank Nico (Stanciu) for giving me a balloon. Nico told me I would score a goal. I didn’t score a hat-trick, but it doesn’t matter, especially that it was won,” said Musa.

“Slavia dominated. It can be seen that she deserves the title. We missed eight players today. There is nothing to evaluate from our side, we were not a sparring partner for Slavia, we could not match her in practically anything,” said Rada.
