The performance of the Argentines in the NBA preseason

The three Argentines had a good participation in the NBA preseason. With different performances and responsibilities, we review what has been done by each one from the statistical point of view.

Facundo Campazzo entered his second year with the Denver Nuggets, who played five games and won one, the last against the Oklahoma City Thunder. The point guard came off the bench four times and averaged 3.4 points, 2.2 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 21.8 minutes per game. His defensive intensity and vision of the game gave him his place as director of the second unit, although he will have to work to improve his shooting percentage, given that he had a 15.8% triple and a total of 4/22 in field goals.

His most complete game was in the first of the two against Oklahoma City, with 4 points, 5 rebounds, 3 steals and 5 assists in 22 minutes.

Gabriel Deck had three games in dons confirmed feelings that he will be an important piece in the young Oklahoma City Thunder team. His averages in three games were 6 points, 6 rebounds and 0.7 assists, with 68.8% shooting from the field. Within team testing, Deck almost always entered the second halves of matches and had immediate impacts. He will have to continue working the long distance shot, where he had 66.7% but only attempted three triples in total.

His best game was precisely the last against the Denver Nuggets, where he contributed 9 points and 11 rebounds in 24 minutes of play.

Leandro Bolmaro made his full NBA debut this preseason. With just over 11 minutes per game, he showed his characteristic intensity on both sides and an interesting vision of the game. In general, he always entered the last quarters and averaged 3.3 points, 1.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game. His shot and physique are the points to work on in the future, with 20% in triples that he must improve.

Five days to work and start a season that will have an entire country proudly watching as three Argentines make a place in the best league in the world.
