The people of Glarus decide on the future of the lime factory

For the Netstal lime factory, it’s about the future, says the company’s management. Your raw material will run out in the foreseeable future if you cannot use two new mining areas. The Glarus community assembly on Friday, November 27th, will therefore decide on the development plans for “Founding” and “Elggis Süd”. This expansion of the mining area for the next 50 years “is essential for the continued existence of lime production in Netstal”, explains the lime factory in the Memorial.
