The PC and Internet Bonus becomes law: all the requirements to receive the € 500 bonus

Starting from yesterday, 1st October, the Bonus PC and Internet it became law and therefore we have the official which will be provided nationally. Let’s see in detail what’s it about e who will have the right.

The PC and Internet Bonus will correspond to a voucher worth 500€ and will be compatible for the purchase of a tablet or a PC when combined with a contract of fixed network for internet connection. To be more specific, we report what is written in Official Gazette:

The bonus corresponds to € 500 and will come in the form of a discount on the sale price of the ultra-broadband internet connection fees for a period of at least twelve months and, where present, the related activation services, as well as for the related electronic devices (CPE) and a tablet or personal computer.

So it is discount of 500 € can be used for those who purchase the tablet o PC combining it with a contract for the provision of connection services at least 30 Mbps in download, aimed at families who they don’t hold any active connectivity contract, and to those they hold a basic broadband contract with lower speed ai 30 Mbps in download.

All families with ISEE below € 20,000. The request for vouchers will be handled by Infratel, with which they will have to interface with the various telephone operators to propose their offers. Requests will go on until out of stock, for a maximum duration of one year. A identity card of the family member and the ISEE declaration valid.

In practice, the bonus will be accessible to citizens only when the various telephone operators they will have proposed their offers specifications to use it. Some remain still open questions, such as the mode of verification of the maximum download speed of families who already have a fixed network contract. We assume that in the next few days the Ministry of Economic Development will provide further explanations.
