With a goal and assistance, David Pastrňák helped his Boston win over the Tampa Bay hockey players in the opening duel of the second round of the NHL playoffs. The Bruins won 3: 2 and took the lead in the series.

Pastrňák was declared the first star of the match. David Krejčí prepared a goal for the Havířov native, who scored in the seventh duel in a row. Ondřej Palát scored one assist on the losing side.

Charlie Coyle opened the score at the end of the opening period. The second goal was scored by Boston in the 25th minute after the Czech cooperation.

Krejčí patiently searched on the right side for space to pass and then with his cross pass released the Pastrňák, who raised it from the left circle with a shot without preparation. Tailor scored three goals and seven assists during his successful points series.

Boston led 3-0 at the beginning of the third period. His elite attack attacked well and won the puck, which Pastrňák backhanded to Brad Marchand. The Canadian striker hit the exposed goal without any problems.

Tampa Bay did not give up and reduced the difference to one goal in the final eleven minutes. In both cases, Victor Hedman won with a shot from the blue line. Palát scored the first goal.

Boston did not allow more and after the departure of the number one goalkeeper Tuukka Raska, who left the club for family reasons, he also won the fourth match.

All winnings were picked up by Jaroslav Halák and his back is covered by Daniel Vladař, who signed a new three-year contract with the Bruins. The club announced the news during the match.
