The painter Miguel García presents a ‘Dawn’ of light, harmony and color at the Almería Art Museum

Feeling the concern about discovering new creations or discovering canvases that express feelings through art is the spark that many people choose when making plans during their free time or to give themselves unforgettable experiences. More and more, in this sense, are betting on art as a means of escape and, from Almería, making the creations of different artists known is a reality.

The Jesús de Perceval room of the ‘Espacio 2’ Art Museum has ended the year with a new exhibition by an author from Almería. It is the painter Miguel García, who offers a large-format exhibition under the coordination of Alejandro Zamora Galera, curator of the Almería Art Museum.

The Jesús de Perceval room houses, specifically, 15 works by Miguel García with a typology of oil on canvas. ‘Amanecer’ is a collection that is created by the painter who comes from Dalías and is supported by more than five years of intense work and study of harmony, composition and oil painting at the Parramón Institute in Madrid.

His professional career as a draftsman is also reflected in the great role of drawing in this exhibition that can be seen until January 17, 2021 and which consists of a selection of fifteen works belonging to the Amanecer Collection, which is composed in its all one hundred and fifty-eight oil paintings, related to artistic vanguards such as Surrealism and Cubism.

The Councilor for Promotion of the City, Carlos Sánchez, visited the collection together with Juan Manuel Martín, director of the Almería Art Museum, and highlighted “the great work that is being carried out at the Almería Art Museum, under the Directed by Juan Manuel Martín, and thanks to the collaboration of the Ibáñez Cosentino Art Foundation and the City Council ». In fact, the mayor said, the Jesús de Perceval Room “is a window for artists from Almería, as is the case of Miguel García, whose exhibition I recommend for these days of Christmas.”

What better way, therefore, to start the new year than by visiting this Miguel García exhibition, produced by the Ibáñez Cosentino Art Foundation and organized by the Almería City Council and the Foundation itself, where the Provincial Council also collaborates, to fill up with the energy that his paintings transmit.
