the owners’ office provides apartments for nursing staff

But the momentum of solidarity does not stop there. Several organizations have decided to support all the other doctors, nurses and others who are currently caring for the sick. This Thursday, the Office of the Owners announces to make apartments available to medical personnel who so wish.

The current crisis leads to intolerable human situations

In the portfolio of goods which are entrusted to private management (at the Office of the Owners), there are many apartments / flats for short term rental, most often rented to expatriates for a period of three months “said the Office in a press release. “The current crisis leads to intolerable human situations, sometimes even leading to the exclusion of people working in hospitals from their homes.

The Office’s chief administrator, Guillaume Pinte, therefore decided to contact several owners “to see if certain empty apartments could be used to relieve this distress. On the strength of the exceptional relationship of trust which unites them with the PO, the latter followed his proposal unanimously“.

Close to hospitals in the capital

Concretely, 150 people can now be accommodated in these homes, located not far from the main hospitals in the capital: Chirec, Titeca, CHU Brugmann, Europe Clinics, Saint Luc University Clinics, Erasmus, CHU Saint Pierre… “This provision is supported by the Office of the Owners and will allow doctors, nurses, paramedics to rest avoiding long journeys if they live far from the hospital or to have a place within from which there is no risk of infecting his family.

The accommodations are fully equipped with a washing machine, dishwasher… “so that the occupant can really recharge their batteries without worrying about any material aspect. All costs related to the provision of these high-quality accommodation are fully covered by the Office of the Owners.
