70% of the affiliates to the pension system have made the request to withdraw funds from their mandatory individual capitalization accounts.
According to the balance of the Superintendency of Pensions (SP), until 5:00 pm on Tuesday, a total of 7,702,026 members and beneficiaries have submitted their withdrawal requests, making use of the right established in the constitutional reform approved on 23 last July by Congress.
According to the latest SP report, the breakdown of total pension fund withdrawal requests is as follows:
- AFP Capital: 1,158,931 applications.
- AFP Cuprum: 351,545 applications.
- AFP Habitat: 1,325,867 applications.
- AFP Model: 1,526,590 applications.
- AFP Planvital: 1,149,443 applications.
- AFP Provided: 2,125,256 applications.
- AFP One: 64,394 requests.
The authority reiterated that the web platforms of the pension fund administrators will continue to operate on a regular basis and called on citizens to carry out the process in person only if it is strictly necessary, always in safeguard of their health.
