Road workers complain about the part that is built of concrete. According to them, in some places it is up to eight millimeters thicker – and if it goes into the asphalt, it can cause so-called stairs. It will grind now, probably a few more weekends.
“It’s something we don’t allow, it doesn’t match the project. In the next two weeks, ie outside rush hour traffic, we will grind, “says Jan Rýdl, spokesman for the Directorate of Roads and Motorways.
It is not clear when the new section should be passable. Grinding of thicker concrete is likely to be completed within a few weeks.
