The new Forza Motorsport will also hit the Xbox One. The game supports Smart Delivery

When announcing the new part of the Forza Motorsport series, Microsoft focused on confirming the next-gen quality. The tire squeal game will arrive a bit later, but that doesn’t mean Turn 10 Studios has forgotten the Xbox One. The capabilities of the Smart Delivery program will be used.

During the Xbox Games Showcase there was a new version of the Forza series, although we have not learned the details of the game’s premiere at the moment. The title stayed “Redesigned for a new generation” and, as planned, will provide gameplay in native 4K resolution at 60 frames per second, using ray tracing.

We can expect the indicated quality on the Xbox Series X and PC, but apparently the production will also be available on the Xbox One. In the presentation itself, Microsoft focused on the next-gen possibilities of the title, although there was a mention of the item on the console’s website – the races will offer: “4K, 60FPS, DirectX Raytracing, Smart Delivery”.

The latter endorsement suggests that Forza Motorsport will come in two generations since Smart Delivery allows you to play “the best versions of games”. If we buy a title for Xbox One, we will get the Xbox Series X version for free. The program includes, among others Cyberpunk 2077 and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. It should be emphasized that we are not dealing here with the usual Backward Compatibility, as developers will use the latest tools and technologies – such as ray tracing support, among others.

So it remains to wait for the official confirmation of this message from Microsoft.
