The new CEO has been appointed to lead KCom, as the ink dries out as the executive changes

The body’s broadband and telecommunications operator KCom has welcomed a new chairman.

Industry expert Johan Denlind, who is an advisor to the parent company Macquarie Asset Management, will take over immediately, replacing Neitan Lockie, who will remain director.

Mr. Dennelind ran a number of telecommunications companies, including Telia as President and CEO from 2013 to 2019.

Telia is a listed multinational telecommunications company and mobile network operator operating in Sweden, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania and Norway. He has recently worked for a UAE company du.

He will focus on providing strategic industry and market advice to KCom, while supporting and providing guidance to the management team, which has undergone significant changes in recent months.

Tim Shaw replaced Dale Ranenberg as chief executive, while retail manager John Rowney also left when Nile Bartholomew moved.

Mr Dennelind said: “I am delighted to be joining KCom’s business at a very exciting time as it continues to be a leader in the full fiber broadband industry in the UK.

“I look forward to working closely with the rest of the Board of Directors, KCom’s management team and Macquarie Asset Management to continue the tremendous success of recent years while planning for a successful future.”

He will be joined by Fiona Goldsmith’s £ 99 million board with extensive and extensive experience in business and finance. Her career was a chartered accountant, and her career included many leadership and non-managerial roles. She will chair the Audit and Risk Subcommittee.

Her most recent senior position was Chief Financial Officer of Land Securities Trillium, the UK’s largest commercial property developer.

During her tenure, the company set up a £ 1 billion infrastructure fund. Most recently, she has supported companies with her extensive experience in finance, auditing and risk as non-executive directors and chair of the audit committee of MJ Gleeson Plc and Safestyle UK Plc.
