The NBI of the Communal Equipment Fund increased by 11% in the first half of the year

The Casablanca Stock Exchange closed the period from August 17 to 19, 2020 in the red, its two main indices, Masi and Madex, yielding 0.42% and 0.44% respectively.
At the end of this shortened week, the Masi, a global index made up of all equity-type stocks, fell to 10,265.78 points, while the Madex, a compact index made up of continuously quoted stocks fell to 8,344.42 points. Under these conditions, the “Year-To-Date” (YTD) performances of these two barometers are respectively placed at -15.66% and -15.88%.
As for the international indices, the FTSE CSE Morocco 15 lost 0.26% to 9,173.24 points and the FTSE Morocco All-Liquid 0.29% to 8,825.65 points, reports MAP.
Regarding the Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) “Casablanca ESG 10” benchmark, it dropped 0.14% to 784.31 points.
In terms of physiognomy, only 21 values ​​out of the 75 of the odds ended the three sessions of the week in the green, against 25 in the red, while the other 29 values ​​remained unchanged.
On the sectoral level, the strongest drop of the period was shown by the index of “Holding Companies” with -4%, undermined by Delta Holding (-4.03%), while the ” Beverages “yielded 3.26%, weakened by Société des Boissons du Maroc (-3.97%).
The week’s decreases also include the sectors “Electricity” (-2.05%), “Insurance” (-1.86%), “Real estate investment companies” (-1.86%) and “Banks” ( -0.83%).
In contrast, the “Engineering & Industrial Equipment” sector posted the largest increase with + 8.96%, while the “Leisure and Hotels” and “Mining” sectors respectively gained 3.83% and 3.61%.
The market capitalization amounted to nearly 530.19 billion dirhams (billion dirhams), while the global volume of exchanges reached 210.89 million dirhams (million dirhams), of which an amount of 205.63 million dirhams was realized on the central market.
During this period, the best weekly performances were the work of Delattre Levivier Maroc (+ 12.44% to 36.43 DH), Managem (+ 5.87% to 974 DH), SMI (+ 5.61% to 2.485 DH), IB Maroc.com (+ 5.45% to 29 DH) and Colorado (+ 4% to 49.43 DH).
The largest drops were recorded by Alliances (-4.84% to 31.09 DH), Lesieur Cristal (-4.3% to 143.55 DH), Delta Holding (-4.03% to 31.19 DH ), Société des Boissons du Maroc (-3.97% to 2.347 DH) and CIH (-3.85% to 250 DH).
On the podium of the most active stocks of the week are Cosumar, BCP, Itissalat Al-Maghrib, Label Vie and Attijariwafa Bank with respective shares of 51.18%, 9.53%, 9.20%, 6.13% , and 5.66%.
