Ainzón was reunited with his music band last Sunday, September 12, after more than a year without contact with the public. The last performance of the band took place on June 27, 2020 in an act of tribute to the victims of the covid where a song from Mozart’s Clarinet Concert was performed while planting the holm oak that the Government of Aragon gave to the municipalities for this recognition.

We return was the motto with which the band summoned its followers. The enthusiastic audience enjoyed a varied and select repertoire in which the themes of films were the main protagonists of the concert, although classic melodies of pop and rock music were also heard.

Taking advantage of a theme in which the trumpet had a special role, a recognition was made to José Luis Morales, trumpeter of this group for many years and who due to various circumstances has to leave it. The president of the association, José Fernando Pardo, highlighted in addition to his musical quality, the human quality of the honoree. José Luis received an emotional ovation from all the attendees.

Of course, there was no lack of pasodobles such as Fiesta en Ainzón, composed by José Antonio Bellido, a member of the band and who was the last of the repertoire. Pasodoble that gives the title to the album that was recorded in 2016 in which all the melodies that sound during September 13 and 14 are collected, major festivals in honor of the Holy Christ of the Chapel that are celebrated in the town.

AN UNUSUAL SONG

After the warm applause received and as a prelude to the cultural events held during the weekend, the music band surprised the audience with something unusual in the concerts: the Ave Maria that the people sing during these days in the temple and that due the current health situation has not been able to touch these last two years.

Band and public joined in one voice wishing that the next parties can be celebrated in 2022 with absolute normality. Welcome back music.
