The Undersecretary of Endurance Sports, Federico Maza, affirmed that the Municipality has been listening to different sectors and jointly evaluating the possibility of being able to progressively resume physical activity, strictly respecting duly approved safety and hygiene protocols to avoid the spread of covid 19.
He stressed that the Management considers “very important the gradual and managed reactivation of this activity in order to provide physical and mental health in times of pandemic” and address the serious situation that this sector is going through in economic and labor matters due to not being able to work.

Maza explained that physical activity is essential for the person and that it is very necessary that “citizens can return to exercise due to the multiple benefits that this brings to health.” In addition to remembering “the worrying situation that the sector that works and lives from this activity goes through, such as physical education teachers, gyms, among others”.
He explained that “they are work activities that are completely paralyzed, and were during all this time, and that were strongly affected.”
