There are plenty of small, cheap used cars, which the Slovaks and Slovaks liked, on our car market. How to make sure to choose the most reliable one to travel over time? Survey of an independent car service under the name Car reliability assessment from the point of view of Czech mechanics could help me.

A unique survey consisted of 239 professional mechanics, who evaluated the fifty most popular vehicles in the Czech Republic and Slovakia using the branded wheeled learning system. Parameters such as the reliability of the engine and its load, the failure of the electronics and the quality of the body were assessed. Toyota Yaris increased in the category of cheap cars up to one hundred thousand crowns. Renault Thalia II was the best.

Among cars up to one hundred thousand crowns, they rated a dozen of the best used cars on Czech roads, such as the Volkswagen Golf V, Ford Focus II, Renault Thalia, the Fabia I code, the Kia Ceed I, the Peugeot 206, the Opel Astra H, the Peugeot 207, the Ford Fusion, Toyota Yaris II, Hyundai i30 I, Hyundai Getz and Renault Thalia II.

The cars were not marked by the user, but by professional car mechanics, ie people who walk daily under their hands and thus determine the most frequent pins of failures. The arithmetic mean of the evaluation of these criteria resulted in a five-point scale of marks as in a round.

Before buying a car, most people get the most reliable information about the selected model. You often make mistakes. In order to do so, they usually have to rely only on the advice of acquaintances or Internet evaluators. Only a few surveys compare cars with each other, and most of them do not reflect the situation on the Czech market, Krej explained.

The research took place last year and evaluated the fifty most popular cars in the Czech Republic, divided into three categories according to the purchase price. The survey took the form of questionnaires. The evaluated models were selected according to the data on registrations and car sales for the period 2004 and 2018 according to the Association of Car Importers.
