The catastrophe of the capital collected 1997 votes and 70% of the votes, against 857 votes for its American adversary.
The official name of our local stop was “Quebec City’s Car Dealership Catastrophe”.
After crushing his opponent from Queens in the second round, the horrific stoppage of Quebec made it through the semi-final of the competition to finally be crowned champion in the final.
Streetsblog USA holds an annual contest for America’s “Saddest” Bus Stops.
It was a stop on rue Frank-Carrel, in Quebec City, opposite the Futura window and door business, which was retained by the blog’s editors, despite its geographical position.
“The phenomenon of bad bus stops knows no borders, and frankly, the stops in Quebec that were submitted to us were too bad to be missed!” Blog editor Kea Wilson explained last week.
In a previous round, Mme Wilson was impressed by the participation of Internet users during the Quebec-Queens clash: “A summit in this contest”.
