When opening the app for the first time Over Drop Your location and immediately shows you the current weather and the forecast of the next few days. In addition to an animated illustration, the app provides general information and diagrams on the course of temperature, the probability of rain and wind speed. Also included are satellite maps with rain radar, current weather warnings via push notification and other details. If you want to add different locations, you can do this easily via the location display.- Somewhat hidden in the menu are widgets that can be placed on the home screen. Unlike most weather apps brings Over Drop not only with weather widgets, but also has dashboards, time and date displays and battery displays on offer. The widgets also score with a successful minimalist look that can be brought onto the homescreen with little effort.-
However, if you want to have access to all 35 widgets, you have to resort to the 2.39 euro pro version. The annoying advertising banners also disappear from the user interface.
