Thursday evening, after a day’s meeting in a hotel in Dordrecht, the Netherlands, Tinneke Vos returned to his car and was unhappy to discover that the glass of his vehicle had been broken. The thieves left with his computer … and therefore all his memories.
On Facebook, this resident of Ranst (province of Antwerp), appealed to thugs. More than her computer, she would like to recover the external hard drive which was with: “A hard drive with all our family photos (from the birth of my little ones to all our holidays). These photos are nowhere else and so I would like to find him, “she wrote on Facebook, hoping that her message would one day reach one of the thieves. ” I am very sad “.

“I know the chances are slim, but I would like to make a call. Has anyone seen something? Or are you the person who stole my stuff? She continues. “The computer is replaceable, not the photos.”
According to firefighters, who helped Tinneke after his mishap, the thieves used a scanner to see if electronic devices were hiding in his car. Police on Twitter urged caution on the move: “Don’t leave anything of value in your car, and don’t leave it in your trunk either. Thieves struck this evening in the center of Dordrecht. With a Bluetooth scanner, they can check if there are devices in your vehicle ”.
Tinneke, 38, asks the thieves via the media in the north of the country to anonymously re-deposit the hard drive at the Villa Augustus hotel-restaurant (Dordrecht): “I would be very grateful to you.”
