Minister of Social Policy Marina Lazebna spoke about the new living wage for the lowest category.
In Ukraine, starting from July 1, the subsistence minimum for the lowest category is set at UAH 1,854. The Minister of Social Policy Marina Lazebna told about this in an interview. Radio Liberty.
“I always focus on the category with the lowest level. This is for the disabled, pensioners. Because all the additional payments that we will now list, pensions depend on it …”, the minister said.
Marina Lazebna reminded that several increases were made this year. In particular, on January 1, when the minimum wage was raised, indexation was carried out for 8 million people.
Earlier it was reported that the government revises the existing cost of living, intending to make it “fair”.
