Statement from the Ministry of Health about the symptoms of Coronavirus

Yesterday, Sunday, the Ministry announced that 606 people recovering from the Corona virus had been discharged from hospitals, and this was after they had obtained the necessary medical care and recovery, according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, and the total of those recovering from the virus rose to 118,900 cases.
The advisor of the Minister of Health and Population for Media Affairs and the official spokesperson for the ministry, Dr. Khaled Mujahid, confirmed that 993 new cases that proved positive for laboratory analyzes of the virus were recorded, and they are among the procedures for surveillance, investigation and important checks that the ministry conducts continuously, and the number of deaths has become 55 new cases.
Mujahid confirmed that according to the recommendations of the World Health Organization issued on May 27, 2020, the disappearance of symptoms continues for 10 days from infection, which is a basic indicator of the patient’s recovery from the virus, and also Egypt recorded a total of 149,792 cases, including 118,900 cases who were cured, and 8,197 A death case.
