The Minister of Health of the Murmansk Region Dmitry Panychev spoke about some of the results of the work to combat coronavirus infection over the past week and spoke about plans for the autumn-winter period. The video was published by the operational headquarters on the epidemiological security of the region.
Panychev noted that the number of people recovered from COVID-19 is growing in the region, there are already more than 60% of the total number of infections. On the contrary, the number of hospitalized people is decreasing. The number of free beds does not cause alarm – there are more than 20% of them.
By the autumn-winter epidemiological season, it is planned to restore planned care both in inpatient and outpatient conditions, to increase stocks of personal protective equipment and medicines, consumables, test systems. Large-scale seasonal influenza vaccination will be carried out.
Recall that this year a new strain of flu awaits us, which means that immunity to it will be minimal.
