The Minecraft movie will be released later than the scheduled spring of 2022

The Minecraft movie should have been released in the spring of 2022, but apparently that’s not going to happen again.

That reports The Hollywood Reporter. The film should have been released on March 4, 2022. However, the coronavirus has caused the film to be released later – a new date has not yet been announced. Other Warner Bros. movies, such as The Batman and The Matrix 4, have also previously been postponed.

As previously leaked, the film revolves around a teenage girl and a group of adventurers who must ride the Ender Dragon’s blocky Overworld. Peter Sollet, known for Nick and Nora’s Infinite Playlist, is now directing the film after Rob McElhenney retired early last year.
